Automation Technician

This position is responsible for all aspects of assembly, troubleshooting, development, installation, and service of Custom Assembly Automation. Travel to customer locations to install and troubleshoot new machines. In addition, the Technician plays a critical role in the job documentation, quality, and eventually professionally representing EAM/Prescott in the field. Some travel required.

Automation Engineering Technician

The Automation Engineering Technician in addition to machine builds will assist in mechanical assembly design and or electrical assembly design using AutoCad and SOLIDWORKS. Generate mechanical and electrical blueprints and drawings. This position also assists in quoting jobs and customer relations. Assist or supervise automation setup and debugging at customer locations. Some travel required.

Electro-mechanical Automation Technician

Prescott Metal/EAM (Engineered Automation of Maine) is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Automation Technician to join their growing production staff in Biddeford, Maine. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is excited about assembly and testing, has experience with operating power and hand tools, has excellent troubleshooting skills, and is willing to travel.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Prescott Metal/EAM (Engineered Automation of Maine) is seeking a full-time Mechanical Designer/Engineer. For over 30 years, EAM has designed, built, and serviced equipment for customers in the medical, food and confection, labeling, plastics and packaging industries, as well as all kinds of small parts manufacturing assembly.

Our new Mechanical Design Engineer must have extensive experience in automation design as a Mechanical Engineer, with a degree or commensurate experience or both. We need someone who can think on their feet in front of potential customers and collaborate with customers and our own EAM engineering team to provide process solutions. Our new Design Engineer must be able to generate concept drawings in AutoCAD and follow it through to machine build and delivery. Strong technical writing skills are a must. Ability to occasionally travel is also a must, mostly in North America, but our equipment is sold worldwide.
