Vision R&D Engineer- The Vision System R&D Engineer is a key innovator within our EAM Vision department, responsible for the rapid development and prototyping of custom, automated inspection systems for the manufacturing industry. This role leverages deep expertise in software development and machine learning to solve complex industrial challenges, from initial concept and feasibility through integration with new or existing automation.

Automation Technician

This position is responsible for all aspects of assembly, troubleshooting, development, installation, and service of Custom Assembly Automation. The technician travels to customer locations to install and troubleshoot new machines. In addition, the Technician plays a critical role in job documentation and quality and eventually professionally represents EAM/Prescott in the field. Some travel is required.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Prescott Metal/EAM (Engineered Automation of Maine) seeks a full-time Mechanical Designer/Engineer. For over 30 years, EAM has designed, built, and serviced equipment for customers in the medical, food and confection, labeling, plastics, and packaging industries, as well as all kinds of small parts manufacturing assembly.

If you love automated machinery, we have the position for you!

Our new Mechanical Design Engineer must have extensive experience in automation design as a Mechanical Engineer, with a degree or commensurate experience or both. We need someone who can think on their feet in front of potential customers and collaborate with customers and our own EAM engineering team to provide process solutions. Our new Design Engineer must be able to generate concept drawings in AutoCAD and follow them through to machine build and delivery. Strong technical writing skills are a must. The ability to occasionally travel is also a must, mainly in North America, but our equipment is sold worldwide.
